List One Specific Type of Firearms Business and Who your Customers Should Be.

As I have managed two different Gun Ranges in the past, I believe this is the type of firearms business I would like to start. This means I will need an FFL to buy, sell, rent, gunsmith, and manufacture firearms. If I were to describe the layout of the facility, it would have two different shooting bays to handle a large customer base and to allow courses to be run while also having a space for walk-ins to shoot. I would keep a minimum of two classrooms to rotate classes out of, a space dedicated to all the equipment needed to be an effective gunsmith and a lobby to display and sell firearms.

Having a facility that meets those requirements brings in a wide range of customers. From the ones who are applying for their license to carry and need a course from a certified instructor to the others who just want to shoot to have some fun, these types of facilities become a one stop shop for just about anyone. Including things like gunsmithing and custom firearms builds is almost a necessity as you can catch customers having issues with their firearm and recommend certain repairs, upgraded pats or maybe just a new firearm in general right there on the spot. Individuals with shops designed specifically for gunsmithing may not have a ton of local competition depending on the region but if the gun range the customer is shooting at has a gunsmith on staff the customer never needs to look for a gunsmith in the first place because it got taken care of already.
